Airport connections to London stations and cruise ports

An onward connection needs more than a destination name. Check the exact terminal or station, the time you need to be there and the steps between landing and leaving the airport.

Airport to railway station

Enter the exact station as your destination, rather than the surrounding area. A booking for King’s Cross, St Pancras, Paddington, Victoria, Waterloo, Euston or Liverpool Street should identify the station you actually need.

Allow time after landing to reach arrivals and collect your luggage, then allow for the road journey and finding your platform. Check any check-in or boarding deadline with your train operator before choosing the connection.

Transfers between London airports

For a journey between Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton or London City, use both airport names and the correct terminals where applicable. Include the arriving flight number and explain your onward flight details when confirming the plan.

A road transfer is only one part of the connection. You may need to collect luggage and check it in again, as well as complete arrival and departure procedures. Confirm the connection requirements with your airline and allow for traffic; the transfer cannot guarantee you will make an onward flight.

Airport to cruise terminal

Use the cruise terminal address supplied by your cruise line, not simply the town or port name. Include the ship name and terminal details so the intended drop-off is clear. If the cruise line changes the terminal, tell London Arrival before travel.

Work back from the cruise line’s check-in deadline and account for the airport arrival process and road journey. For pickup after a cruise, use the expected time you will be ready outside the terminal rather than the ship’s scheduled arrival time.

Add a hotel or another stop

If you want to stop at a hotel or another address, add it to the route before reviewing the fare. Put the stops in travel order and confirm any requirement for an extended stop before paying.

Book online at least 24 hours before pickup using London local time. For a tight connection, unusual itinerary or earlier pickup, contact London Arrival to discuss the details before committing to the journey.

Plan your onward connection

Allow time for arrivals formalities, the road journey and your onward check-in. Read the guide for your destination before agreeing a pickup time.
