Work backwards from check-in
Start with the time your airline expects you at the airport, then allow for the drive, traffic, finding the pickup point and getting out of the car. The flight departure time is not the right time to plan around.
Add extra margin for a long journey, a large party or a hotel pickup. A clear pickup time gives everyone time to be ready with their bags before the car arrives.
Use the correct pickup address
Enter the full home, hotel or apartment address and check the suggested result before continuing. For a large building, add the entrance or collection instructions in the notes.
At an airport, use the airport name as the destination and provide the flight number when you have it. The agreed meeting arrangements will be confirmed for your booking.
Allow for passengers and luggage
Count every passenger, large suitcase and cabin bag before choosing a saloon, executive car or MPV. Include pushchairs, sports equipment or unusual items in the notes and ask before paying if you are unsure.
Keep the luggage list consistent with the people travelling. A vehicle that works for two passengers with a couple of bags may not suit a larger group or several suitcases.
Book early and check the details
Online bookings need at least 24 hours’ notice. Enter the pickup time in London local time, check the route and fare, then keep your confirmation available on the morning of travel.
For a journey within 24 hours, contact London Arrival on WhatsApp first so availability can be checked before you make plans around the transfer.
